[ In combing the web we found only AP photographs of counter-protesters and those protecting the ‘Nam Memorial. We found exactly zero photographs of gathering anti-war/impeachment activists until finding this shot on the Canadian “Globe and Mail” site (J. David Ake/AP) – Ed]

WASHINGTON (AP) – Hundreds of anti-war demonstrators […] carried signs saying “U.S. Out of Iraq Now,” “Stop Iraq War, No Iran War, Impeach” and “Illegal Combat.”
The other side carried signs saying “Peace Through Strength,” “al-Qaida Appeasers On Parade” and “We Are At War, Liberals Root For the Enemy.”

  1. Just a glance at this picture. Makes me know. That the 20 hour drive to our capital was not in vain. It’s even more breath taking when you are in the thick of it.

  2. AP far too often shows a right-of-center bias. They tend to release stories with the bias and later edit to remove bias. Unfortunately news organizations frequently publish the early drafts while the stories are “hot.” Some days this almost seems coordinated. They’ll probably release proper protest photos later as well.
