Trump as the Franklin County town became the sixth community in the country to do so, said Amherst lawyer John Bonifaz, who introduced the petition.<\/p>\n<p>Pelham Town Meeting will consider the petition Saturday, and Amherst Town Meeting will consider it at a yet undetermined date. Amherst Town Meeting began last week and continues this month.<\/p>\n<div class=\"story\">\n<p class=\"headline\">The 259th annual Town Meeting opens Wednesday with a plan to hold the meeting three nights a week instead of the customary two.
