Here at We Impeach, we believe it is important to remind these public officials that the threat of impeachment is real, and that they will be held accountable should they abuse their power.<\/p>\n<p>We promote the use of a procedure in the House of Representatives where citizens can initiate impeachment of federal officials. This process has been used to successfully impeach a federal judge in Missouri. It invokes the same rule of the House of Representatives that the Missouri citizen used when impeaching that federal judge (Judge James Peck).
