Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, whose cabinet is dominated by Iraqi separatists, may veto the measure.<\/p>\n<p>The law requires the parliament&#8217;s approval of any future extensions of the mandate, which have previously been made by Iraq&#8217;s prime minister.
