\nhttp:\/\/www.charlottesvillepeace.org — A group of Charlottesville, Va., residents organized by the Charlottesville Center for Peace and Justice (CCPJ) will speak at the Charlottesville City Council Meeting at City Hall at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 18, in support of Charlottesville becoming the 80th city to pass a resolution in favor of the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney. Charlottesville would be the first city in Virginia to take this step, and would join Chapel Hill and Carrboro in North Carolina, as well as 77 other towns and cities around the country. Eleven state legislatures have considered such resolutions as well, and one “\u201c the Senate of Vermont “\u201c has passed one.
