It even dates back to the 1930&#8217;s where <a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20070830135856\/http:\/\/137.99.36.203\/CFIDE\/roper\/presidential\/webroot\/presidential_rating_detail.cfm?allRate=True&amp;presidentName=Roosevelt\">you can review FDR&#8217;s approval ratings<\/a> from August, 1937 forward.<\/p>\n<p>The reason I bring up this archive is because today Bush reached a historic milestone. His current disapproval rating in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/printedition\/news\/20070710\/1a_lede10.art.htm\">the latest Gallup poll<\/a>, 66%, equals <a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20071107040159\/http:\/\/137.99.36.203:80\/CFIDE\/roper\/presidential\/webroot\/presidential_rating_detail.cfm?allRate=True&amp;presidentName=Nixon\">Richard Nixon&#8217;s highest Gallup disapproval rating of 66%<\/a>, registered the week before he resigned from office.
