We’ve developed a “Do-It-Yourself Impeachment<\/a>” for Elon Musk that was successfully used to impeach Judge Peck<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Constitution says that “all civil officers of the United States” can be impeached (Article II, Section 4).\u00a0 Judicial precedent has laid out that civil officers include high-ranking executive officials, like agency heads. DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency ) is certainly a federal agency.\u00a0 And despite the flip-flopping by the Trump administration, there can be no doubt that Elon musk was appointed by Trump to runs DOGE.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So now all that we need are impeachable offenses. The Constitution indicates these are “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” And “high crimes” has consistently been interpreted by the courts to include “abuses of power.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

To that end, a federal judge has indicated<\/a> that he is likely to rule that when DOGE dismantled USAID (United States Agency for International Development), that action was unconstitutional. A different federal judge said on Thursday<\/a> that they are likely to rule that when DOGE gave tech billionaire Elon Musk’s aides “unbridled access” to the data of millions of Americans in the Social Security Administration, they violated privacy laws. And, there are lawsuits against DOGE for refusing to release public records and failing to comply with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to turn over documents it has unlawfully withheld. Elon has also been hit with formal complaints over self-dealing when it comes to the FAA.\u00a0 DOGE canceled a contract the FAA had with Verizon<\/a>, and is instead handing it over to Musk’s Starlink company.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And I’m sure there are more offenses which you can tell us about in the comments! Let’s drain the swamp.\u00a0 Voters on all sides of the political spectrum abhor corruption, so this is a nonpartisan effort.\u00a0<\/p>\n
