\nDems support impeach hearings<\/p>\n

ONEONTA _ The Otsego County Democratic Committee voted last week to urge two area members of Congress to support an impeachment study focused on President Bush and Vice President Cheney.<\/p>\n

The resolution is a call for hearings that may result in a bill of impeachment and is not a call for impeachment itself, said committee Chairman Benjamin Friedell.<\/p>\n

The resolution will be forwarded to Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-N.Y., and Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.<\/p>\n
