With each passing month, the Iraq disaster claims the lives of nearly 100 service people and countless Iraqis as it drains 12 billion of our tax-dollars. Our communities are neglected and suffer the consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Today, an amazing and powerful story is unfolding in this country. We&#8217;ve all known for some time that most people want the war and occupation in Iraq to end. For the first time, people from all walks of life will have an opportunity to be counted as part of a national, public protest without having to travel to Washington, DC, or New York City.
