“There is an impeachment resolution submitted in the House of Representatives to impeach VP Richard Cheney. Nancy Pelosi is telling groups who support this that she will respond if she receives 10,000 hand written letters.\u00c2\u00a0 Please send Nancy Pelosi a hand-written letter\u00c2\u00a0telling her you support Resolution 333.\u00c2\u00a0<\/div>\n

I decided to check this out, and I called the Speaker’s office in Washington, DC.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The staffer who answered\u00c2\u00a0denied the report.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0The aide told me\u00c2\u00a0that members of Pelosi’s staff are\u00c2\u00a0aware of the report,\u00c2\u00a0 but the aide wouldn’t confirm that the Speaker herself was aware of it.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 He said the report is\u00c2\u00a0“\u009dbaseless”\u009d and that she never made such a statement<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
