Robert Wexler (D-FL) set up on Friday to elicit public support for his call, made jointly with Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), for the House Judiciary Committee to begin immediate hearings on Rep. Dennis Kucinich&#8217;s bill (H Res 799) for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney.<\/font><font size=\"2\"><\/font><font size=\"2\"><strong>UPDATE! This is working. Since I filed this story in mid-afternoon, the number of signers has jumped by 10,000 to 90,000. We can break 100,000 tonight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although this dramatic development in the impeachment movement of having three senior members of the House Judiciary Committee join in calling for hearings has still not been reported by <em>any<\/em> mainstream news organization, by early this afternoon, the number of signers on the website had grown to 80,000.
