This rejection passed on Wednesday morning,
\n30-April-08, at the quadrennial General Conference of
\nthe United Methodist Church that is still meeting in
\nFort Worth, Texas.<\/p>\n

This body is the highest authority of the denomination
\nand cannot be over-ruled by any other body within the
\ndenomination.<\/p>\n
