High Crimes and Misdemeanors

\nI<\/b>s it not time to take a stand,
\nAnd from George Bush the truth demand?<\/p>\n
M<\/b>angled corpses litter Iraq,
\nA charge their mortal words do pack.<\/p>\n
P<\/b>ronounced by dying lips these pleas:
\nThere are and were no WMDs!<\/p>\n
E<\/b>vil lies did start this war,
\nAnd send our troops to foreign shore.<\/p>\n
A<\/b>nd now we know for what we toil:
\nIt is no less than desert oil!<\/p>\n
C<\/b>ongress also fails us now,
\nDaring not discharge its sacred vow.<\/p>\n
H<\/b>alliburton’s dollars made their way,
\nLeading not just George and Dick astray,<\/p>\n
B<\/b>ut also Congress as a whole,
\nFor campaigns funded by its bankroll.<\/p>\n
U<\/b>nless we shout our discontent,
\nThey will assume our mass assent.<\/p>\n
S<\/b>end them letters, send them mail,
\nTell them that we will prevail.<\/p>\n
H<\/b>istory bids us take command
\nAnd from our leaders this demand:<\/p>\n
N<\/b>ever falsely start a bloody war,
\nOr you will hear the people roar.<\/p>\n
O<\/b>n the Bible you swore that you’d defend
\nOur Constitution from those who would offend.<\/p>\n
W<\/b>ell, now’s the time to carry through
\nAnd bid George Bush a cold adieu!<\/p>\n
