FreeBeacon<\/b> – A confidential David Brock memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon lays out the ways the Democratic operative plans to use his numerous organizations to take down President Donald Trump through impeachment.<\/p>\n
Brock is currently at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla. for a weekend conference with more than 100 major liberal donors. Attendees are mapping out a course to combat the newly sworn-in president.<\/p>\n
According to the private and confidential memo, Brock plans to defeat Trump \u201cthrough impeachment,\u201d using American Bridge, his liberal super PAC, as the main vehicle to do so.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo other progressive organization has the resources and assets that American Bridge has amassed over the past several election cycles to hold Trump, his administration, and the politicians accountable,\u201d the 44-page confidential memo states.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnly Bridge stands ready with staff already hired, Trump\u2019s web of business ties mapped out, and a massive video archive at our fingertips.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe right will bolster Trump aggressively and deceptively. The campaign to stop him must be nonstop. At American Bridge, it has already begun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brock\u2019s group claims to have more than 20,000 hours of video, 289 candidate research books, and the largest available archive of Trump research in the Democratic Party. Within weeks of the election, Bridge launched a \u201cTrump War Room,\u201d which has already scrutinized Trump\u2019s transition team and will continue to watch the personnel, policies, and practices of the administration.<\/p>\n
The \u201cstate-of-the-art Trump War Room\u201d will strive to \u201cuncover details of Trump\u2019s affection for Russia and Putin.\u201d They are tracking Trump\u2019s foreign and domestic business partners, construction projects in foreign countries, and negotiations on potential future projects that he \u201ccould use to put personal profit ahead of our national security.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWith so many opportunities for foreign governments and corporations to gain influence over Trump, American Bridge will use every means at its disposal to hold Trump and his administration accountable\u2014including FOIA requests, lawsuits, and regulatory complaints. As the progressive movement\u2019s political research clearinghouse, we will arm our allies to join us in taking on the administration through paid advertising, earned media, grassroots efforts, and legal recourse.\u201d<\/p>\n
The group laid out its strategic plan for the next four years. The top outcome is to defeat Trump \u201cthrough impeachment.\u201d<\/p>\n
