Washington State Senator Eric Oemig (D-45th)

Washington State Senator Eric Oemig has introduced into the Washington State Senate Senate Joint Memorial 8016, calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush by the U.S. House of Representatives, on the grounds of lying to get the U.S. to invade Iraq, warrantless wiretaps, and the striping of U.S. citizens' rights. The joint memorial says that the "War with Iraq has cost the lives of many Washington state residents and squandered taxpayer money from the state of Washington"

Senator Oemig spoke again this afternoon with Impeachment Channel about the current status of this effort to initiative an investigation possibly leading to impeachment of the President and Vice President of the U.S.
