Congresswoman Carolyn Kilpatrick is now listed on the official congressional list of cosponsors of H Res 333, articles of impeachment against the Vice President. That makes 19 official cosponsors, plus the original sponsor Congressman Dennis Kucinich. Impeachment advocates have long considered Congressman Ed Towns to be a cosponsor because he phoned Kucinich’s office during the August recess and signed on in front of a number of his constituents who had urged him to do so. The impeachment sentiment’s only barriers are the corporate news’ unwillingness to report the truth and the corporate Democrats in Congress unwilling to do the people’s work.
Interesting. I’ve been following the impeachment sentiment (http://repptide.com/commenting.php?value=892), and though it looks like it’s tapering off, it’s still signifcant that about 2 out of 3 favor it.
