How It Works

Share your organizer link by email, text, social media, or your own website. Anyone who follows your link and then submits and verifies a memorial for any listed official counts toward your inspired memorial count.

What Is an Impeachment Memorial?

Impeach for Peace helps citizens create impeachment memorials concerning federal officials. A memorial is a formal document (prescribed by the Rules of the House of Representatives for use by citizens) pressuring the U.S. House to examine alleged misconduct and consider whether further action is warranted under its constitutional impeachment authority.

Impeach for Peace does not automatically submit anything to Congress. Instead, we help users create a clear memorial, verify their email address, and receive a PDF, a shareable webpage, or both. Users can then send the memorial to their own U.S. Representative. We do keep track of the number of memorials that have been verified for each federal official, and if it becomes large enough, we will contact U.S. House reps to pressure them to initiate an investigation.

The Impeachment Organizer Program lets supporters share the tool with others. When someone uses your organizer link and verifies a memorial, that inspired memorial is counted toward your Organizer Level.
