These photos are from today’s www.MaineImpeach.org action at the Portland, Maine, office of U.S. Rep. Tom Allen. 250 people came to a MaineImpeach rally in Portland and walked into Rep. Allen’s office to demand that Rep. Allen support either House Resolution 333 or an alternative Cheney impeachment resolution that was drafted and delivered to Rep. Allen recently by the Maine Campaign to Impeach.
At this moment, people are still filing into Rep. Allen’s office, each delivering to Allen’s staff a signed sheet asking for impeachment action by Rep. Allen and each making their personal statement to Allen’s staff. This process has taken well over one hour. About 15 of these people are now preparing to sit in Allen’s office until the Congressman delivers a statement in support of impeachment action by Congress.

Maine Impeach will carry out the same action at Rep. Michael Michaud’s office in Bangor tomorrow.
