   You say: “…a book signing was probably not the best venue for this.”

   Agreed. But the problem is that Speaker Pelosi is so closely guarding access to herself that this book signing is one of the only venues in which the general populace can reach her.

   We are attempting to get her to honor her oath of office in any way we can. She won’t meet with us. She won’t address the topic in any venue where she will be truly challenged.

   So her book signing tour is the only opportunity.

2. It sounds like Pelosi didn’t realize you were handing her a copy of Kucinich’s articles (after all, you forgot to tell her that they were a copy of Kucinich’s articles). So when she said “I haven’t read it yet”, she was probably talking about the papers that you just handed her.

   Next time, your tactic should be to ask her “Have you read the articles of impeachment submitted to congress by Dennis Kucinich?”

   Either way, authors are usually on autopilot when they’re doing book signings (especially busy signings), so her reaction is no surprise. Because of this autopilot nature, a book signing was probably not the best venue for this.

3. Not only would I like to see Dictator Bush impeached, I would like to see him shipped to Iraq and made to answer for his crimes against humanity.

4. Nancy Pelosi is unmotivated to act on impeachment because she is complicit in the crimes. To “allow” (remember it’s not up to her) impeachment to go forward would threaten her own legal position because she has knowingly engaged in the same criminal activities. Ergo she says impeachment is “off the table” not to help the Bush crime family, but to save her own ass.

5. i have a feeling that if the democrats tried to take down bush, in the process they would themselves be taken down. they are all – republican and democrat alike – complicit, a government of criminals.

6. Use Your Power To Force Impeach Hearings (or lose it forever)

   “As John Dean points out, Bush/Cheney have broken the same laws Nixon did, only Nixon’s actions did not cost the lives of over 4000 brave American men and women”.

   Bush and Cheney are the most impeachable US executives in American history. The failure of the House Democrats to hold Bush and Cheney accountable for the WMD Lies is unforgiveable.

   The only way any Incumbent House Democrat will get my vote is to hold Impeachment Hearings prior to the election. But withholding my vote is not enough. I and you must take to the street to get other voters to withhold their votes from Incumbent Democratic Congressmen. We will not have Impeachment Hearings prior to the election unless you do this.

   No matter what Bush/Cheney Crimes evidence comes out the House Democrats will try to ignore it.

   The Democrats control Congress and can start Impeachment Hearings with a simple majority vote. The Dems have the votes.

   In addition, any of the so called progressive organizations are also in lockstep with the House Democrats (such as: MoveOn, ACLU & UFPJ ) and against impeachment. It will take a very hard fight to over come this and some real courage on the part of individual voters.

   In Colorado we have actually been doing negative campaigning against all incumbent Democratic Congressmen who refuse even to discuss impeachment.

   We have a Congressman Udall who is running to be a Senator from Colorado. He supposedly has a liberal background but is moving right as fast as he can. He avoids all protesters who want to stop the Iraq War funding and who support impeachment.

   Even so, the race for the US Senate from Colorado is statistically “too close to call”, so we have a real chance to make a difference here. Since the race is “so close” we believe that we actually can stop Udall from winning and going to the Senate.

   The way we are doing this is by doing “Negative Protesting” at our weekly impeachment events, at all of his public events and by constant “commenting” on all newspaper articles about Udall (nationwide).

   We only have to sway the vote of a very small percentage of voters to keep Udall out of the Senate. This is doable.

   We believe that all (or most) of the power to cause impeach is local. If you activists are willing to get between the Incumbent Democratic Congressmen and the voters in their Congressional Districts, We will have impeachment hearings.

   United For Peace And Justice issued a press release nearly a year ago demanding impeachment, but strangely, even though UFPJ controls over 1,400 local peace & justice activist groups, UPFJ has Never Called Them To The Streets To Support Impeachment. Why? Do they have some kind of deal with the House Democrats?

   And of course there is MoveOn, that paragon of progressive action, which refuses to tolerate the use of the I-word in its presence. MoveOn is getting flack from the Left for its tendency to kiss up to the DLC Dems in the Congress. MoveOn could eliminate that negativity instantly by coming out forcefully for immediate Impeachment Hearings.

   Unless Angry Liberal Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Greens and the rest of you get off the couch and carry signs in front of all Incumbent House Democratic Congressmen’s offices with harsh language such as

   “UDALL is a Traitor to Our Constitution because he Refuses To Impeach”…
   There Will Be No Impeachment.

   It is up to you.

8. let’s remove Nancy Pelosi,my sense’s indicate we should have remove her quite a while ago.
   Let’s give the message,but however let’s give the process impeachment.
   Pelosi resign……impeach/evict……
