Thanks, Joe for all that you do for us in documenting our struggle to get Rep. Blumenauer to do his job. We have been in front of his office for 11 weeks and will continue our protest in the rain and cold because it must be done. Next Thursday we will introduce a new concept.
It is obvious that Earl is not going to call for any real accountability for the crimes committed by this pretender in the White House and his boss, the Dick. We will say very clearly—no accountability, no support.
We will start on Wednesday to leaflet the area with our message of, The Declaration for Justice.
The Declaration of Justice
We demand that all the Oregon Delegation now come out with a clear statement calling for the Impeachment of Dick Cheney and/or G.W. Bush.
We declare that we will not support or vote for any candidate who refuses to hold these two war criminals accountable for the illegal invasion, occupation and now genocide of the people of Iraq.
We have been patient, asked and now demand you do your job and bring these corrupt politicians to the bar of justice before they leave office.
This madness must stop, our troops are in great danger, and our people are now ashamed to call themselves Americans. The world is stunned by our lack of understanding what these monsters in the White House have and are doing.

End of leaflet
Can’t come to our protest on Thursdays, here is what you can do:
Call your Representative and tell the person who answers the phone that you will no longer support him/her until they call for the investigation and impeachment of the Vice President and/or the President.
Blumenauer’s office number: (503) 231-2300—DC office (202) 225-4811
E-mail the Democratic National Committee, (DNC) and tell them the same thing.

Call your local radio and TV stations and say, no accountability no support. Let our Reps know that they are in deep trouble in the coming elections. If they let Cheney/Bush walk in January of 09, they will walk in January of 2010.
Talk to your unions, groups and ask them to withhold endorsements of any candidate who refuses to honor their oath of office and the Constitution of the United States of America. Money talks big time.
Your vote is your weapon, use it and make the people who represent us feel the heat. We will stand in the rain and snow, all we ask of you is to call, call and call again to shake up the bastards.
For Justice and Peace

I love Ray McGovern, and he’s absolutely 100% correct and justified, But I’ve become convinced that impeachment proceedings will never happen due to the fact that the Bush Crime Family has dirt on EVERYONE (see “illegal wiretapping program”). Not to mention the Democrats have NO GUTS WHATSOEVER.
Too bad they couldn’t arrest Bush the other week….
