Pelosi Staffer Denies She’ll Put Impeachment on the Table if She Receives 10,000 Letters

I received this email yesterday from six different correspondents:
“There is an impeachment resolution submitted in the House of Representatives to impeach VP Richard Cheney. Nancy Pelosi is telling groups who support this that she will respond if she receives 10,000 hand written letters. Please send Nancy Pelosi a hand-written letter telling her you support Resolution 333.Â

I decided to check this out, and I called the Speaker’s office in Washington, DC.  The staffer who answered denied the report.  The aide told me that members of Pelosi’s staff are aware of the report, but the aide wouldn’t confirm that the Speaker herself was aware of it.  He said the report is “baseless” and that she never made such a statement
Preventing World War 3 is the #1 Reason to Impeach Cheney. Cheney is the one pushing the Invasion of Iran and for putting the entire world in danger of World War 3. I think that should be a very good reason for her to put Impeachment on the Table! Support Impeachment! If not she is supporting World War 3. No Impeachment means that she will be out of a job in 2009.
