Nancy Locken, owner of Auntie Em’s bookstore for young readers in Minneapolis, believes we need to drive Bush out of office. “I just couldn’t take it anymore, so I put up the sign.” She hasn’t just put a sign in her store front, she offers her customers a free sign with any purchase.

“I haven’t lost a single customer. In fact, I’ve gained customers.” Many people have stopped to browse the shelves and visit over coffee simply because they saw the sign in the window. “It hasn’t hurt business and I don’t feel so helpless and hopeless anymore. I feel better than I have in the years of the Bush administration.”

To be accurate, Nancy reports that she had two people complain about the sign. “But, since they just stopped in to complain and didn’t buy anything; they aren’t really customers.” Nancy says she’ll save her consideration for her paying customers and for the poor soldiers that have been so cruelly used and abandoned by George Bush and his cronies.
