Minneapolis April 28 Impeachment Event

Help us with ImpeachForPeace.org’s Minneapolis A-28 event! We will spell out “IMPEACH” with bedsheets in the evening. Be a part of this effort to tell the world that the Twin Cities are serious about impeachment!

The morning canoe event on Lake Calhoun is being re-scheduled. Please visit ImpeachforPeace.org for an update soon!

Show up at Riverside Park at 7:00 p.m. This is the West side of the Mississippi riverbank, beneath the Washington Ave. Bridge (MN-122) near the UofM Campus.

WASHINGTON AVE. & WEST RIVERSIDE PARKWAY.

We’ll need 65 twin bedsheets (preferably white) and as many flashlights as you can carry to form the word “IMPEACH” and underlight the sheets so that they’re visible to the jets landing at the airport and the cameras capturing the image.

In order to do this, we’ll need 150 in the evening to commit in advance to these nationally important events! Sign up here:

You won’t regret helping to contribute to the restoration of law and the constitution!

  1. Here’s my two cents…

First off, I’m not going to skip work every month to defy Bush. That sounds like something a high schooler would develop. “Hey let’s all skip school every 20th of every month.” Know what I mean? You want to send a message to the White House, you have to be a little more proactive than a couch potato every 20th of the month.
Second off, name calling never solves anything because it shuts people off and puts them on the defensive. So your voice and opinion is never going to be heard by that individual. Come on people, where’s the common sense here?

The facts are very simple. If you support Bush being impeached, then please come to rallies such as this. The more the merrier and even if it doesn’t send a strong message, at least you can say you did some to support the cause. And likewise with the Bush supporters. If you think he’s doing a great job, come to these rallies too and show your pride for the man. This is America! Freedom of assembly.

    Lastly…..

Just because someone is against the war and against Bush, does NOT mean they’re anti-America and against the Troops!!! Listen to their views first before you pass judgement on them.

  2. hey Folks,

The Impeachment program is now on MTN, Minneapolis Cable Access. That is Channel 17 on the cable network in Minneapolis.

    jodin was fantastic.

make a copy folks and pass on to other cable Access networks.

To break past the corporate media blockade.

  3. Hate,

I have some questions for you.

Why do you choose the name “Hate”? Is that a word you appreciate and consider a proper label for yourself?

Do you think that namecalling and hate speech are effective ways to healthily influence the national discourse and debate?

~ If so do you disagree with the firing of Don Imus?
~ Are you a big Ann Coulter fan? Do you commonly use words and phrases like: “faggot”, “sand monkey”, “raghead” and “nappy-headed ho”?

Public expression of political opinions through rallies, protests and civil disobediance do change the world, do you not see that?
~ Martin Luther King, Jr. led many rallies and protests that spearheaded the Civil Rights movement in the sixties.
~ Mahatma Ghandi led many protests and other disruptions that changed India forever.
~ Public protest of Apartheid in South Africa eventually contributed to its downfall.
~ The Women’s Suffrage Movement that eventually gave women the right to vote was full of public showings of dissent.

~ There are hundreds of other examples. Are you unaware of these examples documented in World History?

~ The above protest movement gave rights to African Americans, American women, South African blacks and Indian workers. Are you opposed to those changes in the world’s political landscape? Are you against bettering the lives of minorities, women and workers through public political action?

Did you notice that the Democrats won both the House and the Senate majorities back in November? It was both a repudiation of the Bush Regime as well as the beginning of the end of the failed Conservative “Contract for America” movement of twelve years before. That same “Contract on America” whose leader – the poster child for hypocrisy – Newt Gingrich was an adamant proponent of the impeachment of Bill Clinton for his philandering, and who recently confessed on Dr. Dobson that he was having a sexual affair throughout the Republican witchhunt attacks on Clinton.

Anyway… thanks for dropping by… I just wanted to find out more about you. Please comment again any time.

  4. Yeah, this will sure show them! what a waste of time. Why is it that libtards always seem to think whining during a candlelight vigil will actually change the world? keep whining while the rest of the world moves on. You losers will accomplish nothing. No wonder democrats keep losing elections. Maybe hillary just hasnt lit enough candles? Pathetic.

  5. I would like you to consider passing the word for people to call-in sick on the 20th of each month (obviously, if that day is not a weekend day or a holiday), Why the 20th of each month? Because W. was inaugurated on the 20th of January 2001. This action would be very simple to execute since it involves only picking up the phone and calling the employer from the comfort of people’s homes. Once enough people do that the media would have to report it because if this action is synchronised the system will start to sputter and impeachment will sure to follow.
