Much of last night’s village board agenda was business as usual, such items as a discussion of parking complaints and approval of meeting minutes.
But one matter brought out a large and impassioned crowd, and by the end of the night the board had voted – unanimously – for a congressional investigation of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
In Rockwellian fashion, a local citizens group, informally known as Nyack Impeach, packed the second-floor courtroom and accused the Bush administration of abusing its power and misleading the public to justify war in Iraq. (More)
