Dear March of the People Members:
In an effort to build collaboration rather than separation, organizers for March of the People have agreed to join a pre-existing rally taking place in Washington, DC on September 11, 2007. National organizations involved include the 9/11 Truth Commission and Visibility 9/11.
Our website includes an interactive map of the march route incorporating this schedule change (www.marchofthepeople.org).
PLEASE NOTE: This change does not affect the starting date for the March of the People. The march will begin, as planned, on June 21. Additionally, this merger does not change our message. While merging with other groups in DC, we will be showing our world that differences of philosophy, religious rhetoric, or political affiliations are peripheral to the fundamental call for peace, the one end for which we are all fighting.
Please e-mail organizers if you have any questions regarding this change. Otherwise, to adapt to this change a revision to the march logo is in order. Those of you whose websites and/or printed materials include our logo or the previous arrival date are encouraged to correct them accordingly. To help you, we’ve attached the new logo here.
