(from Barbara Ellis – Portland, Oregon ‘South Side DFA Group’ Impeachment Activist)
2d Wind on Impeachment
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more…
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect…
The game’s afoot: Follow your spirit; and, upon this charge
Cry “Impeach the Tyrants! Vote 333 Now!!!”
There have to be two kind of messages. Loud and subtle. People respond differently to each. This president and worthless congress are going to be held accountable for nothing because people think impeaching is a fringe movement. I have started a simple wristband at http://www.inapeach.com. Pots and pans with shouting will turn off the rest of the people.
Like an armband or pin, a small gesture building into a large message is what we need. Even people who agree don’t want to stand on the side of the road marching. My opinion and others is that it is usually preaching to the choir. When the media interview marchers and protesters, they seem to find the people who can perpetuate that this is a fringe movement. Bumper Stickers, pins, wristbands are a quiet but strong sympbol. I
I would say only 10% who believe in impeachment will do the noisy stuff. But the more we are seen with these symbols the more our politicians will believe we are behind them for this movement. I don’t care if you buy my wristband but we need to come off the fringe from just loud protesters and loud bloggers.

Sarah, if you want to find out how to get one, let us know and we can get you in contact with the Oregon group!
Great idea! I’m all for urging Boston/Cambridge to emulate it.
