Cheney pushes Bush to act on Iran

Ewen MacAskill in Washington and Julian Borger, The Guardian

The balance in the internal White House debate over Iran has shifted back in favour of military action before President George Bush leaves office in 18 months, the Guardian has learned.

The shift follows an internal review involving the White House, the Pentagon and the state department over the last month. Although the Bush administration is in deep trouble over Iraq, it remains focused on Iran. A well-placed source in Washington said: “Bush is not going to leave office with Iran still in limbo.”

  1. Word full out, epro!!!

Be proud to be an American as long as we have the freedom to speak out.

To the degree that is taken from us, to that degree be ashamed of the U.S.A.

  2. Dick (Herman Georing) Cheney is completely insane ! Didn’t Hallibruton and Exxon make enough off Iraq? Poland is lucky they don’t have oil, or the Dick would want to invade them next. I know George W. is a moron, but I can’t believe he would fall for another of Dick’s scams. Don’t try to tell me “Osama bin Laden” is in Iran now !!! Don’t cry wolf again you dumb Dick, we will not listen !!! Dick, If you want us to listen to you again, tell us what really happened to the WTC, otherwise just shut the hell up !!!

A once proud American. Make me proud again, Impeach Cheney and Bush.
