Multiple censure, impeachment bills gain support in Congress

Several Members of Congress have supported Conyers’s bill to investigate Bush, Kucinich’s bill to impeach Cheney, and Wexler’s bill to censure Bush.

Others including US Rep. Welch had constituents plead with them to support impeachment, but he seems to have chosen a less threatening approach.

Still others such as US Reps. Baldwin and Wu supported Conyers’s bill last Session and Wexler’s bill this Session, but have not supported Kucinich’s impeachment bill. Censure may be a less controversial option for them as well.

  1. Cheney and Rummy planned the Iraq invasion while they were working in the last most corrupt administration in the 70’s. It’s time to stop these evil doers from getting away with the murder of our soldiers and the people of Iraq. We the American public have withstood enough of their lies and deceptions. Impeachment is the only way to make sure that the Imperialism that they have placed in the highest form of government does not stand. We need our constitution back in place. Cheney and Bush both need to go.

  2. Thanks to the folks who represent the voters. We must clean out the trash in Congress and the White house.

  3. Mr. Cheney, Why have you decided to violate your sworn oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America? Because of your criminal acts against the citizens of the USA and the rule of law you need to retire or face impeachment actions by our legislative branch of government. I’m wearing orange for support.
