Dems support impeach hearings
ONEONTA _ The Otsego County Democratic Committee voted last week to urge two area members of Congress to support an impeachment study focused on President Bush and Vice President Cheney.
The resolution is a call for hearings that may result in a bill of impeachment and is not a call for impeachment itself, said committee Chairman Benjamin Friedell.
The resolution will be forwarded to Rep. Michael Arcuri, D-N.Y., and Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.
