Wednesday, September 5th a group of activists went to the Saint Paul City Council to further highlight the issue of Impeachment. Members of the City Council and their aides have now been informed that they will be contacted and asked to publicly support a Resolution, calling on the Minnesota
House and Senate to call for the Impeachment of both Vice President Dick Cheney and President George Bush.

Congress has completely failed to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic, as most recently by John Conyers having Cindy Sheehan arrested in his office, it has become evident that we need to take a different tact to hold the rogue Bush Administration accountable.

Having the Minneapolis and Saint Paul City Councils call on the Minnesota House and Senate pass Resolutions to Impeach both Cheney and Bush is an effective strategy to make that happen.

According to Jefferson’s Manual which clarifies for the House of Representatives how Impeachment may be initiated having one State House and Senate pass a Resolution will automatically push the issue of Impeachment to the Congress and they are then forced to deal with it.

Call your elected officials. Ask them are they willing to protect the Bush Administration or will they keep their oaths to protect the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic? The Bush Administration have proven themselves to be the biggest threat to our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Representative Democracy and Republic.

If you are from Saint Paul or Minneapolis, then please find out who your City Council-persons are and call them, telling them that you support Impeachment. If they will not support and work for Impeachment then they shall be exposed as elected officials who chose to protect the Bush Administration from the wrath of “We The People.” We shall remember that, next election time. They are expendable but the Constitution and Bill of Rights are not.

  1. Keep up the pressure! City Councils swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic” and are duty-bound to use their positions as civil servants to strongly oppose the Bush Administration.
