Call Members of House Judiciary NOW!
(Especially members of the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties – see below)
Special to IFP by ‘Paul Revere’
Yesterday while doing my normal round of calls to various members of congress, I called John Conyers’ office to ask if the new revelations that came out of Scott McClellan’s book has given the judiciary comittee any new motive to go forward with impeachment. Conyers’ aide told me that the current Kucinich impeachment bill, H.R.799, was now in special discussion amongst members of the comittee. I was then told that one of the biggest impacts that a person like myself could make at this point would be to call my representative and try to influence them to persuade Mr. Conyers that now is the time for action. My guess is that it wouldn’t hurt to call all the members of the judiciary comittee either.
