By vtfinest on DailyKos — Wow. Just as we expected, this teach-in delivered! For those of you on the fence re: investigations on impeachment, watch the following YouTubes, ESPECIALLY John Nichols of The Nation.
According to Paul Heintz of the Brattleboro Reformer
"Though billed as a "teach in" and held at Dartmouth College, impressionable students were far outnumbered by gray-haired veterans of a movement that began in southern Vermont and has since spread throughout New England."
I’d say that’s accurate.
One of the things people don’t know about impeachers is how diverse we really are. Keep that in mind folks. Approximately 200 people were in attendance, including Betsy Hall (D-Brookline). As many of you know, she will introduce an impeachment resolution in the NH House sometime next year and I ask all of you to call your reps and support the resolution. Here’s what Hall had to say last night, that Heintz captured.
Democrats of America and New Hampshire Rep. Betty Hall, D-Brookline, spoke of their individual efforts to fight for impeachment.
Hall, a 30-year veteran of the New Hampshire house, recounted how she voted in the 1970s against a measure supporting the impeachment of President Richard Nixon.
"I have regretted that every day of my life ever since. So I said to myself, 'I'm not going to do that again.'
Will you?
