Those expecting Kucinich to deliver harsh words about the president weren’t disappointed, as the half-hour campaign speech soon turned to talk of impeachment.
“On the way over here, I was reading a 50-page document that relates to Articles of Impeachment for the President of the United States,” Kucinich said to a standing ovation. “And I want you to know that I’m actually preparing this document for submission to the House.”
Kucinich said under the current administration, citizen’s rights to due process and fair trial are in jeopardy.
“This is a moment when we’re called upon to reclaim our country,” he said. “You give me your vote, I’ll give you back your country.”

YES, BY ALL MEANS IMPEACH THE SO CALLED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. HE IS ONLY ONE MAN BUT ACTS TO ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES LIKE HE IS “LORD OF ALL.” HE IS WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF THE MOST MURDEROUS PEOPLE EVER TO OCCUPY THE VENERABLE OFFICE OF AMERICAN PRESIDENTS. YET, HE IS NOT SORRY AND CONTINUES ON IN HIS SICK ACTION. HE GETS AWAY WITH IT I KNOW NOT WHY BUT NOW IS THE DAY OF RECKONING FOR HE MUST SURELY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR EACH AND EVERY ACT OF TERRIBLE UNAMERICAN ACTION. ARREST HIM IF YOU MUST AND IMPRISON HIS PERSONAGE UNTIL SENTENCE CAN BE WEIGHED.
BUSH HAS COMMITTED SO VERY MANY IMPEACHABLE ACTS IT IS HARD TO KEEP TRACK. HE TOOK AN OATH OF OFFICE AND SWORE TO UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION. INSTEAD, HE TURNED AND HAS DONE ALMOST THE OPPOSITE AT EVERY JUNCTURE. OF COURSE HE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. IT IS UNIMAGINABLE TO THINK OTHERWISE. BUT HE THINKS HE IS CLEVER. HE ACTS AS THOUGH HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THE WILL AND TENOR OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ARE MUCH, MUCH, MORE INTELLIGENT THAN HE GIVES THEM CREDIT. WHY ARE THE REPUBLICANS IN LOCK STEP WITH HIM EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I WILL NOT PRETEND I KNOW BUT IT IS CERTAINLY POLITICAL SUICIDE. PROCEED, DENNIS, PROCEED.
