Santa and two helpers get arrested outside House Representative Earl Blumenauer’s Portland Office, on Thursday December 20th. This was “Week 21” of the Impeach Bush / Cheney Vigil. The protesters want to get the Impeachment Issue “on the table” The problem is Earl Blumenauer could care less. In fact as the weeks turn into months, it is more than ever obvious that Earl will be “protecting the deadly duo” more than “challenging and holding them accountable”. The Impeachment protesters / activists want an Honest Government. They want a president who will “uphold” his oath of office and the Constitution. The president and side kick (dick) have spied illegally on Americans, tortured humans from all over the globe at secret prisons “all over the globe,” they have lied to, covered up information, circumvented laws using signing statements, used rendition on people with no trial or ethics, have “ordered” the killing of millions including women and children, have occupied a foreign country, hung their leader, and thumb their noses at American citizens. We want the bastards in jail. We are prepared to go to jail to say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”
So instead of jailing the real criminals …. we have elderly people who want peace thrown in jail instead.
I must say the Police were more than polite in this case and provided many means to protest without them having to arrest anyone, that is commendable….. but this time Santa and his helpers NEED to go to Jail…. its the only way to get any attention brought to this tragedy of the Bush Crime Family (with Earl Blumenauer’s help) are ruining this country and destroying our relationships with the world at large. These Brave peacemakers who stood up with their bodies in defiance will all be back next Thursday at noon. I hope I see you there too at 729 Oregon Street in NE Portland.
