I posted a blog on line about what I witnessed and photographed at the Republican National Convention marches at:

Very sad. Councilmember Dave Thune scheduled a public meeting to discuss what happened:

  1. As a citizen of America I was appalled at the violence that was witnessed in said video upon peaceful citizens by their local and state protection officers. I say protection officers because that is supposed to be their job, to protect our rights. What happened in St.Paul was a gross missuse of the power granted to our local police forces. These men I am sure acted under orders of their superiors amd they under theirs etc etc.. In the end just who should be held accountable. There was no riot, no provocation, no reason…just people enjoying music and watching people in a peaceful relaxed manner. At the worst the only viable charge could be loitering. It also appeared that officers were overly aggressive in their arrests, one shot depicting a young man with his head being stepped on while being roughly cuffed. I would like to request continued coverage of this story, if not in video of the town hall, then at least publish the minutes. There seems to be a growing trend of abuse of power accross our nation and the public has the right to if not obligation to take notice.
