  1. What more can be said that others have not already said far better than I and so frequently? But, here goes: We have chosen to embrace a socio/political system which permits unrestricted growth of corporate entities. Over time, these entitities have at first subtley but then boldly, become our government. Since most of us either directly or indirectly work for these rulers, depend upon them for our daily bread, we must at all costs support them. You should be able to construct your own ending from here on, without my help. My own conclusion is that all of this mess is our fault, yours and mine. We made the wrong choices and, predictably, our system has mutated into Fascism. Fascism allows no dissent. This may be a relief to those of you (who*) have chosen not to dissent in the past; very soon you will have an excuse not to. “They” will kill you if you try.

  2. I have lived a good 48 years. If insisting on my inalienable right to “have a voice” costs me my life, then so be it. A life of compromise is not a life I consider one worth living.
