Pat Tillman + Cindy Sheehan = Peace?

Filed under: Impeach for Peace — Mikael @ 12:55 pm

pat_tillman_lg.jpgCindy_Sheehan1.jpgNo matter how much effort I and we of www.ImpeachforPeace.org put into holding the White House and other corrupt officials accountable, each and every veteran or active duty soldier has the authority in the public eye to have twice the effect I or any other ‘justice through impeachment for peace’ activists have regarding Peace and Justice issues around our military in half the time.

As it should be.

How powerful would the anti-war effort have become in a big hurry with Pat Tillman as the nexus along with Cindy Sheehan – bless her Gold Star heart?

If only Pat Tillman hadn’t been hit by enemy fire.
I mean…
If only Pat Tillman hadn’t been hit by friendly fire in a firefight.
I mean…
If only Pat Tillman hadn’t been hit by friendly fire in a firefight that we have found out didn’t actually take place.
I mean…

If only someone hadn’t put three bullets in Pat Tillman’s head from approximately ten yards away (what at least one veteran sniper has written looked very much like a hit and two confirmation shots), he would have been able to keep the appointment with war critic and fellow intellectual Noam Chomsky that his mother has shared was his plan upon being discharged or upon his next leave/furlough (I don’t know the lingo).

Tillman was ready to come home and likely would have emerged as the most potent high profile war and Bush Administration critic as a veteran since… well… since John Kerry.

Is a Court Martial movement the best means by which to pick up Tillman’s weapon of words and action to support and defend the Constitution of the United States from domestic enemies to it? I am not the one to say, but if it is, who will be the one they themselves have been waiting for?

The ‘new’ John Kerry won’t even invoke the First Amendment to keep you from being tazed for asking the wrong questions, thus supporting with his inaction a student being proscribed for asking questions outside the prescribed parameters of a public hearing.

  2. My God, it’s one thing to see the tripe about why we shouldn’t be in Iraq, but apparently you feel that we are wrong to be in Afghanistan as well. Is there any menace to this country that you feel is worth fighting other than your boogie man Bush?

  3. Mr. Cannon,

Since you can write, it should be safe to assume that you can read as well. If you would actually take the time to read the article above, depending upon your comprehension and retention abilities, you would see that nowhere is our military presence in Afghanistan brought into question.

Please, by all means, after you have taken the hour or two it will take you to get through the article, report back with more of your astute criticism.

  4. No kidding you don’t get the lingo. It’s because you’re an insane mime and you’ve never worn the uniform.
OK, let’s get this straight…..Bush had Tillman snuffed because Tillman was going to have lunch with Noam Chomsky? Tillman….the next “John Kerry?” Where does Elvis and Bigfoot fit in to this?
BTW mime, it’s called “Courts Martial”.

  5. Mime, why did you remove my post?
What are you afraid of? Reality?

[Editor’s comment: Mr. Hand’s conspiracy theories aside, his post was never removed, it was delayed as the editor who alone can approve comments, was out of the country and had no access to this site for the last week plus]

Chew on this Mime, it destroys your limp-wristed world view.

  7. “General” Hand/Cannon,

We have gotten used to trolls such as yourself impersonating retired military officers and pretending that gives you some sort of ‘official’ upper hand. Don’t think for a moment we are fooled by your multiple online identities.

I have no problem debating and discussing facts with any adult. But if the best you can do is attempt to belittle me with accusations that I am “insane”, that my career as a theatrical performer is something to be ashamed of, that the communication of facts surrounding the death of hero and patriot Pat Tillman is the equivalent of Bigfoot theorizing and that my “limp-wristed” sexual preference – of which you know nothing – somehow lessens me as a person, then I can only assume that you are either in fact, or in intellectual development, a Junior High student. Until an entry of yours shows me otherwise, I will await approval from your parents to continue this discussion.

  8. Hi Mikael,

The only item I have to add to this discussion (one that someone familiar with the M-16 should know – and seems unknown to those ‘military’ posters above) is that the weapon has 3 settings: Single shot, full automatic (machine gun), and “burst” in which it fires 3 rounds in well under 1 second with a single trigger pull. It seems most likely to me (with minimal technical or forensic knowledge) that Tillman’s death was the result of a single shot, in ‘burst’ mode, from reasonably close range. I point this out merely to suggest that his death probably didn’t require the use of a trained sniper. It could have been the result of any of his squad-members.

  9. Yep.

    Cold-blooded murder.

The only question that remains is the motive – and who ordered the hit if it was indeed a hit.
