SOME of America’s most senior military commanders are prepared to resign if the White House orders a military strike against Iran, according to highly placed defence and intelligence sources… The Sunday Times has learnt that up to five generals and admirals are willing to resign rather than approve what they consider would be a reckless attack… “There are four or five generals and admirals we know of who would resign if Bush ordered an attack on Iran,”…

  1. Another sign of Bush’s increasing isolation. No free thinking person (ie, those who don’t merely tow the line) trusts Bush anymore. It’s both refreshing to see military commanders stand up to this criminal, and at the same time depressing to know that our nation is in such a deplorable state that those directly responsible to the Commander in Chief feel the need to essentially threaten a form of rebellion at the top levels of our military.

  2. It is going to take rebellion throughout the military and throughout the Republican Party at the highest levels to end this Bush madness.
