More Congressmen Join Bill To Impeach Cheney
June 29, 2007 (EIRNS)–The momentum to force President of Vice Dick Cheney out continues to grow in Washington, with the addition of two new co-sponsors to Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s H.R. 333–legislation to impeach Cheney for “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
The latest co-sponsors, according to www.thomas.gov, are Rep. Hency “Hank” C. Johnson (D-Ga.) and Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), both Democratic freshmen. Freshmen, as a group, largely view the Democratic sweep of Congress in 2006 as a mandate to impeach Cheney, end the Iraq War, and rebuild the U.S. economy.

All representatives- We are starting a list. I demand that you reaffirm your allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and begin impeachment procedure against Bush, Cheney. If you do not, you will be branded a traitor. You’re either with U.S or against U.S.
Impeaching Bush, Cheney would not only save and cleanse the U.S.A but also bring our citizens together. Once again Americans would have pride and respect for their country. Impeachment of these neo-con criminals would vindicate the U.S.A with the rest of the world.

Dear Rob:
Senator Lieberman is underhanded, ignorant, and obstinate. This is a poor combination for the citizens of Connecticut.
He is underhanded because he must know that lies and manipulated intelligence were the backbone for steering America to attack Iraq.
While it was easy to believe that Iraq’s armed forces would be destroyed by the power of our military, it was also the stated belief that America would be welcomed by the Iraqis. The phrase Bush & Cheney used was, “We will be welcomed with hearts and flowers.†The ignorance for failing to consider the factions in Iraq of Sunnis, Shiites, Al Qaeda, and tribes who opposed each other and who were destined to fight for domination when Saddam was removed put America into the civil war Bush, Cheney, and Lieberman denied.
Lieberman’s obstinate decision to admit his mistake has Connecticut stuck with him. Connecticut amazingly elected Lieberman into office fully knowing the issues I have cited. Ned Lamont failed to make each of these issues clear enough to voters. If Ned had used the proper words to describe Senator Lieberman, Ned probably would have been elected in a landslide.
I suggest that the CONNECTICUT POST decides to poll its readers to learn how they view the three issues I raise now. It would be for the protection of American troops to revisit Lieberman’s refusal to change his mind. It is impossible for America to end the Iraqi civil war with its overwhelming military superiority because we are not fighting any nation. We can’t isolate any enemy so we can destroy the enemy the way we destroyed the Nazis or in the manner that we destroyed Saddam’s army at the very beginning.
Thank you for conveying this to your editor. Every effort needs to be made to force Senator Lieberman to represent the will of Connecticut’s majority.

Will someone PLEASE wake up my congressman, Danny Davis, and tell him to sign H.R. 333?! I have not been able to get in touch with him at all. As a Vietnam Veteran, I opposed the invasion of Iraq as a horrible war crime and my stomach churns every time I hear of another American military casualty. We need to impeach our current elected dictator and his main henchman ASAP because I personally believe that he is the world’s biggest terrorist.

I am beginning to have hope. I am in full support of the impeachment of Messrs.
Bush and Cheney for their failure to honor the confidence of those who elected them to serve, for failure to properly discharge the duties of their respective offices, for high crimes and misdemeanors, for intentionally and repeatedly misleading the country, for the unnecessary blood they have spilled and which will forever stain their hands. There is a preponderance of evidence to remove them from office by taking this action and to demand the resignation of all cabinet members and advisors who have helped to formulate and cover up for these
treasonous acts. I applaud those members of our Legislative Branch for holding the Executive to the high standard expected of them. They have my gratitude and support. May their hearts and allegiance to the Constitution stay strong as they go about this task.

I don’t live in your country and as usual, it baffles me completely. Will somebody please explain to me why BUSH is not impeached, or BUSH and CHENEY. If they can do it to Clinton for a sexual misdemeanor, why are the Dems so lily-livered? Is wimpdom a criterion for Democratic membership?
P.S. Also please consider changing your typeface. The current one may seem stylish but it’s really hard to read.

Impeach them, try them for lying to get us into an illegal war in Iraq, treason (outing Valerie Plame) and stealing BiLLIONS. After they are convicted and thrown out of office, turn them over to an international tribunal and try them for torture and war crimes and HANG THEM.
Thanks for getting this news to all of us who are enthusiatically backing Representative Kucinich, and all the other courageous Congressman/women who are brave enough to stand up against the traitors in their own party. Citizens are so fed up now with the machinations of the Democrats, especially those newly elected members, along with the so-called “Speaker”, who is the worst of them all, that they are close to starting a third party. I would go for that too, but we all know how poor Ralph Nader was crushed by the “Powers That Be”. Maybe Dennis Kucinich, Conyers, Waters, etc. etc. can still manage to wrest the party out of the hands of the Democratic-Republicss, who do the bidding of the Bush Cabal. Lets hope so.

Take the actions of the few as hope and push for the actions of the many as your mission.
We do need a 3rd party, but it needs to rise from the roots up. Dividing the presidential vote only aids and abets the ongoing criminality. We need hundreds of good candidates at the roots level, nationwide.
I am not going to hold my breath that the Dems are ever going to do the right thing if it takes guts. We need a “real” third party to restore trust and faith in government.
My heart quickens when I see that Congressman or Senator, or any elected official – Has the courage
