We of the Minneapolis and founding chapter of www.ImpeachforPeace.org recently received the following report from member Natalie Morrison about her speaking at the July 4th rally in Madison, Wisconsin. Ms. Morrison is starting up a Wisconsin chapter of IFP:

Friends,
I attended the Madison Impeachment rally at Capital Square today. There were about 75-100 in the crowd. We had several speakers, and yes, I took the mike. It wasn’t bad at all (I tend to shy away from public speaking, but my passion for justice and my desire to start a Madison chapter of impeachforpeace.org was too important). I introduced myself as a member of the Minneapolis Chapter of impeachforpeace.org and now the organizer of impeachforpeace.org, Madison Chapter.
I told them about our organizaton and our mission… nonpartisan, nonviolent, sole purpose of impeachment of the tyrants: Bush, Cheney and Gonzalez and any person who abuses the power of office. I was able to give them the good news about Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) as the 10th signer of H. Res. 333, to which I got cheers and applause. I talked about pressuring the city council and Cam Gordon (I did indirectly plug the Green Party with their stance on impeachment) and told them that we are rallying the community: organizatons, businesses and individuals to demand an impeachment resolution.
I talked about the City Council and how they hide behind the excuse that it is not in the purview of their work. I said, “We say, it is your first, your primary duty and responsibility of your office!” (cheers) I said the way to get results is to inundate the offices with calls, letters, signed demands/support for action from members of the community. Anyway, I was only allowed two minutes, and think that I got a lot across. I did not get to the DYI Impeachment Memorial, which I really wanted to, but will as soon as I can.
About 6-7 people approached me and asked when the next meeting is. I told them that I just arrived and haven’t set a day/time yet but will contact them ( I got their contact info) so… please help me with suggestions as to what my next step sould be. I also gave them our card and directed them to our website.
I will go to the next impeachment coalition meeting this Sunday. I do not want to make people feel that I am undermining their own organizatons, but truly feel that WE have incredible resources, experience, name association, tactics and strategies, and, principles, that are effective and direct. I want to emphasize that we all must work together at all times and that several approaches are better than one.
Please help me with advice on how to set up an initial meeting and what I should emphasize. I intend to use all of our past and present work as templates and tools for action in Madison.

Have you ever seen the Geico Caveman Commercial where they ask for a response and he says HUH? Well I am saying HUH? Where is your proof? By the way to impeach Bush/Cheney would have to have committed Treason or high crimes. Where is the actual charge and where is the evidence? What Where Who When. I know why, because you have so much hatred in your heart. You don’t know how to deal with it. You blame the current administration, but in reality, you hate yourself. You should seek professional help!!

A Patriot’s Message
The hammer falls on the Constitution of the United States of America. Our freedom and Democracy, our sovereignty as a nation is coming to an end.
The politically appointed neoconservatives in Justice sneer at Habeas Corpus; Geneva Convention; worker, consumer and investor protection; education; affirmative action; individual rights and “entitlements†like Social Security and health care.
The corporate neo-con conspirators (Establishment) have their own agenda of a New World Order; W.T.O; N.A.F.T.A; immigration; globalization and “free tradeâ€; military seizure of foreign oil fields; employing a private army of mercenaries and propagandist; “dealing†with Afghanistan Opium drug lords harboring Osama Bin Laden and financing Al Qaeda.
The ideal corporate model is “Communism†where individual freedom and democracy are mute. The board of directors rule. The corporate neo-cons hate our regulatory government, Constitution and Individual Rights.
Our Federal Government is purposely bankrupt by war/trade debt and the ideal corporate nation, China, are carrying trillions of dollars of our debt. Communist China and their junior corporate American partner’s technically own theâ€U.S.A†resulting in “Globalization†and loss of sovereignty. Mission accomplished. The surge strategy is not to win the war but to pump oil and further indebt U.S.A to Communist China. Patriots, sign on! Impeach Bush, Cheney and nullify their Supreme Court appointments!
