CNN’s Jack Cafferty Deplores Chris Dodd for Arguing Against Impeaching Bush
By Brent Baker

In the 7pm EDT hour of Tuesday’s The Situation Room on CNN, Jack Cafferty expressed disappointment in Democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd for rejecting efforts to impeach President Bush because of how it would hurt Democratic chances in 2008. “So, Senator Dodd is putting the election prospects of the Democratic Party next year ahead of whether or not President Bush might be guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors of a kind which would mandate his removal from office,” Cafferty lamented. He noted that “Congress’s job is oversight of the executive branch” and then, he sniffed, with a disapproving shake of his head: “Unless, of course, that oversight interferes with getting elected.” Cafferty soon reiterated his displeasure with the liberal Connecticut Senator: “It’s a pretty amazing statement to come out of Senator Dodd’s mouth.”

  1. Hello Mr. Cafferty,
I am not sure call it impertinence or something else, permanent hearing that Iran supporting militias in Iraq to kill Americans!
Wasn’t America and alliance supported Sadam for years with all kind of military advices, ammunition, satellite pictures and maps, of Iranian strategic important landscaping, which killed million of Iranian?

  2. They spent $40,000,000.00 investigating Bill for getting oral sex from an intern and they only spent $600,000.00 investigating the controlled demolition of the world trade center. 911 was merely the beginning of Bush and Cheney’s treasonous acts. Comparing Bill Clinton and George W. Bush is like comparing Ron Jeremy to the Devil. Sen. Dodd is a moron if he believes the majority of Americans will not support impeaching Bush, Cheney and the rest of their cronies!! Impeaching George W. Bush has nothing to do with the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Give Americans a little credit for being able to see past Cheney’s Smoke and Mirrors. For the future of our country and the world, It is time for congress to stand-up, get some stones and save the constitution!! Impeach Cheney, Bush, Rice, Gonzales and the rest of “The Radical Right”!!
